Specifications

The aluminum alloy used for the extrusions is 6063-T5, with a minimum tensile yield strength of 16,000 PSI. The system is designed to hold a maximum of 400 pounds.

The PMK-UF55 Projection Mounting Kit includes:

  • 2 each 15” L x 2-7/16” D 12 gauge steel struts with strut end caps
  • 5 each carbon steel, electro-galvanized MQM-F ¼ wing nuts
  • 5 each 2” ¼ x 20 bolts
  • 1 each melamine mounting plate 15”Hx10-3/4”Wx3/4”D, pre-drilled to match the SMART G3 Mounting Plate

Anchoring

Wall anchors are not included in the rail system mounting kits. Our suggested anchors for rails only are:

  • sheet rock: toggle or molly
  • wood: wood screw
  • cement or brick: #12 plastic wall mount anchors, or 1/4" x 2" Tapcon® Concrete Screws

Our suggested anchors for the PMK-UF55 are:

  • sheet rock, anchored to at least one stud: toggle, nylon toggle anchor, or expandable metal anchor
  • wood: wood screw
  • cement or brick: double expansion anchor or sleeve anchor
